The story behind NOOM

The origins of NOOM b.v. date back to 2013, when Dutch-born couple Maria and Rob started managing their first vacation rental villa on the Caribbean island of Curacao. Their educational background and experience in International Hotel Management, soon contributed to many happy guests who highly appreciated the villa quality together with the team of NOOM Curacao and their personal approach to authentic service.

In 2021 Maria and Rob expanded their business to Bonaire, the island they visited many times in the past years and has stolen their hearts as well.

Although there are beautiful white sandy beaches on Bonaire where you can sunbathe, the island is especially popular among water sports enthusiasts and nature lovers. The former will especially love the quiet coves where they can surf or swim and nature lovers are catered for both in the water and on land. The underwater world is, in one word, impressive! Coral reefs and exotic fish provide a colorful splendor. Bonaire is also called the 'Diver's Paradise' and is one of the top destinations in the world for divers. Around the island is about 300 kilometers of coral reef with flora and fauna that can be found almost nowhere else. The island is not only popular with diving enthusiasts, but the untouched nature and the casual lifestyle also attract nature lovers and those seeking tranquility. The Washington Slagbaai National Park has a wide variety of tropical birds and the pink Flamingo stands out beautifully against the deep blue water of the Pekelmeer. The capital Kralendijk with its old Dutch colonial buildings is a typical example of the tranquility that the island radiates. Bonaire invites you for a casual holiday, both above and under water!

Caribbean Court | Harbor View Apartment

Located near Kralendijk's town centre, the small scale Caribbean Court resort offers this cozy first floor apartment. Overlooking the marina with the jetties, combined with an outdoor swimming pool this place promises a wonderful and very comfortable stay on Bonaire. There is a diving school on the complex.

The facilities of the apartment are comfortable and convenient. Modern décor; equipped with all the required necessities to cook in during your stay. From this delightful spot it is only a 5 to 10 minutes walk to the best restaurants on the island, dive shops, bakery and grocery stores. This apartment offers an airconditioned bedroom and a bathroom. The living room with open kitchen provides access to the terrace and its gorgeous view of the 'marina'.

The apartment is located less than one mile from downtown Kralendijk and it is just a 5 to 10 minutes walk to some of the best restaurants on the island and a supermarket.

We do recommend to rent a car to make the best out of your holiday. Please keep in mind Bonaire has no public transport (just a few taxis) and there is so much more to explore and see outside the area of your apartment!

Grand Windsock Resort | 3 bedroom Apartment Garden view

ONLY UPON REQUEST

This 6-person Garden apartment leaves nothing to be desired. It is luxuriously equipped and with an area of approximately 130 m2 it is spacious. Striking is the open character of the apartment, which makes the indoor and outdoor feeling flow seamlessly into one another. Thus, you have a separate living room both inside and outside and it is up to you where you prefer to stay. The indoor living room features a dining table and lounge area and in the spacious kitchen diner you will find an American fridge, an induction hob, a combination oven, a dishwasher and a bar with bar stools.

The master bedroom has an en suite bathroom with shower and toilet. In the hallway, between the other two bedrooms, is the second bathroom, also with shower and toilet.

The outdoor living room is accessed through sliding doors at the rear of the apartment. Here you can lounge, barbecue in the outdoor kitchen and socialize at the dining table. The sun terrace is located on the poolside.

Please note: upon arrival in Bonaire a visitor entry tax will be charged at the airport. Non-residents 13 years and older are required to pay the Tourist Tax of USD 75 per person per visit.
